Hi! My name is Phil Afantchawo — everyone just calls me Phil. I'm a Paris-based professional photographer and artist, primarily serving Paris and other regions of France. I travel throughout Europe and organize photo shoots worldwide upon request.

I was born in Russia and lived for ten years in Togo but Paris became my hometown. I speak English, French and Russian, which makes it easy to welcome couples and families from all over the world.

After earning my Master's degree in International Economic Law from the Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, my love for art, visual storytelling and lifestyle photography led me to photograph fashion shows, create art photography and capture the beautiful streets of Paris.

After training in Professional Photography at the SPÉOS International Photography School in Paris, I began photographing couples and families, capturing their most memorable moments in the city. Since 2014, I've had the privilege of documenting unforgettable love stories — proposals, engagements, weddings, elopements and family trips in Paris.

I'm proud to be an openly LGBTQ+-friendly photographer. I've photographed same-sex couples, proposals and elopements in Paris from the very beginning and I created the "Paris Rainbow" project, dedicated to celebrating queer love stories in the city — work that has been exhibited at the Centre LGBTQI+ Paris. Whoever you love, there's hardly a better place than Paris to tell your unique story.
